WELCOME TO THE BATON ROUGE AREA TOYS FOR TOTS OFFICIAL WEBSITE

Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Baton Rouge Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign and for considering us to be your charity to support this year!  We are very thankful to have received such a generous response from the community in 2023.
Please make time to navigate through the website for most frequently asked questions.

Applications are now CLOSED and will reopen October 2024. Our team is working diligently to process all request.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT 23rd Marines Truck Company.
23rd Marines Truck Company is an active military unit. You will NOT be helped if you come to this unit. The Marines that work there are currently involved with training, operations, global deployments and military funeral honors. If you need to contact Toys for Tots, please email baton.rouge.la@toysfortots.org

The mission of the Baton Rouge U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Campaign is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to children in need within the community. These toys make a tremendous difference in the lives of the children and families that receive them gratefully.

The toys distributed during yearly campaigns, are not viewed only as simple gifts, these bring joy and hope to all children in need. Hope is key, and hope is what the Marine Corps can give through the Toys for Tots program. We are delivering a message of hope to less fortunate children in hope that this will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

How to get started?
Simple...

First, decide how you'd like to contribute.  You can coordinate a toy drive, volunteer your time in our warehouse sorting and counting toys, or pick up toys from designated toy drop off sites and bring them to our warehouse (TBD)

You can promote to the community that you are collecting toys for the Toys for Tots campaign through your own toy drive and bring the toys collected back to our warehouse (TBD).

This year we are pleased to be working largely with the title 1 schools in order to reach as many children as possible.
Non-profits are encouraged to assist their families in need to complete a single family application or sign up through their schools.

Note:We will open applications for all individual families October 1, 2024.  You will be contacted upon review of your application. Please do not submit duplicate applications through multiple organizations which will slow down the approval process and lessen the opportunity to deliver toys to others in need. When requesting for single families please include children hobbies and interest and we will do our best to fill the order accordingly. Please be mindful that high priced electronics are not likely to be donated.
